California

From majestic granite mountains and leafy giant sequoias to the curvilinear coast, life is vibrant in California. Have you ever hugged a tree? Have you ever embraced a centenary or millennial living thing? Have you ever wondered how fast a whale's heart beats? Did you know that while plunging into the depths, the whale's heart decreases radically, reaching two beats per minute for the largest species? Nature always fulfills its cycles and we are privileged enough to see it doing so. But now, each year is different. Each year the ocean is warmer, the fires intensify, the drought lingers and the rains are torrential. The environmental crisis we face today can be felt in every cycle of nature, from summits to the sea. After a severe and devastating fire season, nature begins to flourish in California while waiting for the rains that the coming months should bring.
